You are who God says you are
We strive constantly trying to be who God says we are, when according to his Word already are!.
The passage from Ephesians 1:3-8 God chose us, we are blessed, favored us, adopted us as his children, redeemed and forgiven us since we accept His Son Jesus Christ as their Savior. Take these truths on the tip of the tongue to the accuser can break loose the next time you think you are accusing you for not being a Christian in constant victory.
What better contribution to the defeat continuing insecurity? Insecurity leads to wrong decisions in trying to be accepted. When we started to believe that we are who God says we are beginning to break the chains and this begins to be reflected in how we act and make decisions. Our way of behaving flows powerfully about what we believe.
Abraham and David lived in times very different but both had something in common, had sinned grievously and faith needed to believe that God who remained said they were: a father of multitudes (Abraham) and a king whose kingdom would never end (David, where it came from Jesus.)
The true restoration requires faith. To feel like a child of God you need to believe that Christ cleansed of your sins and that from now on you can walk as a redeemed, restored, forgiven. You need faith to be rescued. Sometimes the biblical truths more difficult to accept having to do with us. Cree that you are who God says you are.
