Believing God: He can do what it says it can do
Within the Christian churches there are two extremes that the author calls "cut" and "sensationalism." Simply put, cessation teaches that the most spectacular miracles have ceased in our time. Sensationalism teaches that the main core of the faith are the miracles, suggesting that we can believe God always and when do you say you do, looking for experiences and emotions. The cease deprives the believer of God and enjoy obtaining rewards those who keep the faith, undermining the hope in the church.
Neither extreme is appropriate. The God we serve is powerful. Everything is possible for him we can always expect a miracle and pray diligently. Sometimes the greatest miracle can be abundant life, redemption, ministry and a bountiful harvest after a NO that we thought we would not survive.
CS Lewis says "Do not try to water down Christianity. You can not pretend it is possible to have it if you leave out the supernatural. Christianity is hardly the only religion that can not separate the miraculous.
We are in a dying world, surrounded by growing violence, even churches are going through a period of gradual slide, we must pray as hio Habakkuk: "Lord I have heard of your fame, your works, O Lord I knock out. So do it again in our time make them known in our time "(3:2).
Appeal to the "right hand of the Almighty" because he can work in your life, for God can do what he says he can do, precisely because it is who He claims to be. "
